To the left of the palace building is a little park. This place might not be full of tourists as any other places around Schönbrunn Palace.

The second best photo spot is around the Neptune fountain. Behind it is a hill where just above the hill is Gloriette.

Then, climb the stairs on the side of the fountain and stand behind the Neptune fountain. There is a hollow section where you can peer out and photograph the gardens and palace from a distance. Trust me, it’s very beautiful!

Do not forget to charge the battery of your camera or smartphone. Remember to calculate your visit time to the palace and surroundings as well as your photography time.

It is possible that at certain spots there may be queues of people or perhaps crowds of tourists. Just be patient and once you get your turn, use it wisely and efficiently. To avoid the crowds, you should come as early as possible.
