Last week we took my mum to Amsterdam. She will be returning to Indonesia via Schipol, Amsterdam’s airport, after staying in Germany for about a month. Due to the family’s unwell condition, we did not include a holiday to visit the tourist attractions in Amsterdam and its surroundings.
Our first day was a culinary tour of Utrecht. Since discovering a restaurant that sells delicious grilled ribs there, we try to stop by every time we go to the Netherlands. Luckily, the Netherlands is a small country, so the cities are not too far apart. The distance between Utrecht and Amsterdam is not too far so stopping by Utrecht first is not a problem.
The next day we were only in Amsterdam for half a day. Before the afternoon we had to head back to Germany. To keep us calm on the way I had the idea to find an Indonesian restaurant for lunch.
So far, we have never found a cosy and delicious Indonesian restaurant. We were not lucky enough to enjoy Indonesian food in Amsterdam.
Thank God, this time was different. We found a nice and cosy Indonesian restaurant. The name of the restaurant is Barokah restaurant. Here are the pictures.

Happy travelling,
Amelia
