Our family trip in Vienna was interesting. We combined free walking tour and our own around Vienna.

We only had two full days in Vienna during our autumn holiday trip in 2022. Since we only had limited of time, we prefered to combine a free walking tour and our own trip. With this idea we could visit many interesting places in only short time.
How did we reserve a free walking tour?
After the pandemic ended, there are more and more free walking tour agent. I usually had tour with Sandeman. So, I directly searched on their website and booked on the free schedule.
I suggest you to make reservation and avoid spontan presence.
With participating in a free walking tour we could visiti many historical buildings, cultural places and touristic interesting places. Hofburg Imperial Palace, Cathederal, museums in the city center and City Hall are the examples of places we walked through. You will not only see the places but also know the history and interesting story related to it.
As for our own trip, we did visit Schönbrunn Palace and Belvedere Palace. We also had a chance to see an event in front of the Hofburg. It was interesting.
