Eating Crispy Chicken in My Chicken Hannover

My Chicken is a new halal restaurant in Hannover. This fast food restaurant serves crispy chicken and many more chicken menus.

In recent years, the number of halal restaurants in Hannover has increased. For Muslims in Hannover, this increase is an advantage.

My family and I are a typical family that likes to eat out. With new places to eat, there are more alternatives to eating out.

Halal food in Hannover is not as plentiful as in other big cities in Germany, such as Berlin or Hamburg. Even so, the increase in the number of restaurants alone makes my husband and I happy. We do not get tired of eating at the same place all the time.

Location of My Chicken Hannover

I first found out about this new halal restaurant from my friend, Rani. She told us the good news after eating there.

My husband had also eaten there when he was on an errand in the city center. It turns out that this fast-food restaurant is a branch of a restaurant with the same name in Braunschweig. This restaurant in Braunschweig is one of our family’s favorite restaurants.

The name of this restaurant in Hannover is My Chicken.

Actually, the restaurant is not completely new. The restaurant has been open since a few months ago. I call it new because compared to the other restaurants we frequently visited, this restaurant is the most recently opened.

The restaurant is located right in the city centre of Hannover. It is easy to find. The building, where My Chicken stands, is on the corner of one block in Kroepcke.

In front of the restaurant is Primark. Behind the building is Vapiano, another italian restaurant. Across the building is Sportscheck. It is impossible that someone can not find it.

However, I write the address here so that it will be easier to find it in Google Maps. Heiligerstrasse 4, 30159 Hannover.

The Menu

Once you are standing in front of the entrance door, you can see their menu. They offer various menus ranging from burgers, chicken wings, crispy chicken fillets, wraps, and many more.

You just need to see it carefully before deciding which food you want to order and go inside. Otherwise, you can also go inside the restaurant and pick what you want to eat over there because you can also see the menu on the board above the counter.

You should order the food yourself just like when you eat out at other fast food restaurants. After finishing the order, they will give the customer a restaurant beeper.

The size of the beeper was round and quite big.  After paying the order, my husband took the beeper and we went upstairs. All tables in this restaurant are on the upper level of the building.

I brought a stroller when I visited My Chicken. Since we sat at the upper lever, we could not bring the stroller. We parked the stroller on the corner on the ground floor and locked it. I made sure that my stroller would not block other guests.

When the food is ready, a red light inside the beeper will lighten up and at the same time vibrate. Go downstairs and take the order.

The Restaurant

The upper level of the restaurant is the eating area. There are many tables and chairs which can accomodate many people at the same time.

We picked a table beside the children area. The restaurant utilized one corner as a kinder lounge. I thought it could be use for birthday party.

On this level, we can also find toilet and praying area. The toilets are clean and comfortable. This is a plus point because not every restaurant can provide the same.

The praying area, even the size is small, is another plus point. For example, the muslim customers can do the pray while they are waiting for the food.

During Ramadan is also a good thing. We can break the fast in the restaurant and do not need to eat in a hurry because we are worry the Maghrib praying time end. We can pray overthere.

My husband and I liked the food that we ordered. It was tasty. My first son like his food too.

We will back again here someday. We want to taste other dips and bucket menu. In the bucket menu, customer will get different chicken crispy. The restaurant give information about it on the menu.
